According to Norma Parry, "the tracks on [Past Times Behind] (and on many subsequent incarnations under lots of different titles, e.g. The Early Years, The Provider, In Honor Of a Lady, Roots, Early Sessions, Classic Tracks. etc.) are not under Daryl and John's control and most are demos, outtakes, whatever never intended for release. Daryl and John do not support or approve the release of these particular tracks and get no royalties from them. They would prefer that fans not buy them." This explains why it was on the market for such a short time and why it is now so hard to find.
